New!  The Woodland Heights Medical Center website, produced by Bill Cameron Consulting has been named "Best of Texas" by the Texas Public Relations Association.  Bill Cameron Consulting worked with Woodland Heights Marketing Director Yana Ogletree to produce this comprehensive hospital website.  Database services for the site were produced by DPSolutions and the site is hosted by INU.  Read the press release and watch the KTRE Video.

 

The Lufkin/Angelina County Chamber of Commerce web site has received the first place award in the Texas Chamber of Commerce Executives’ Media Competition that was held at the annual TCCE meeting June 22-24, 2003, in San Angelo, Texas.  The website, located at www.lufkintexas.org, took top honors among other Chambers competing in the highest budget category of Texas chambers.    Bill Cameron Consulting provides update services, streaming video, forms management, backup management, and other high-end technical support for this site. 

The City of Lufkin Website produced by Bill Cameron Consulting has been selected a "Top Pick" by Muninet Guide and Review for both 2003 and 2004.  The review stated "…we have highlighted Lufkin because it provides one of the most comprehensive examples of how to make the most of a municipal web site." 

 

The Texas Association of Information Officers (TAMIO), an affiliate of the Texas Municipal League, named the City of Lufkin Website, produced by Bill Cameron Consulting, a division finalist for the 2004 TAMI Awards.  The Tami Awards are designed to recognize the outstanding work of municipal information officers throughout the state, as well as encourage professional development by those in our shared field.

 

Recently C. G. Maclin, City of Lufkin City Manger, was awarded the "Visionary Award" by the Center for Digital Government.  Most of the projects mentioned in this award were supported by or provided by Bill Cameron Consulting including web services, the wireless WAN, the IP phone system and web hosting for nonprofit organizations.
